Humanitarian Aid

With an emphasis on touching the most vulnerable families, we visit each family before making decisions on how we can best help.  Many times, visits encourage people to know they aren't alone or forgotten.

Families receive assistance in a variety of ways: food, medical transportation, medicine, a/c units, heaters, kerosene, clothing, etc.

We have provided over 1,000 trees to reestablish what was destroyed in the genocide. Trees can give us hope as a visual representation of life, going from a sapling form to mature growth and yielding fruit over many years, which families can enjoy and share with the community.

Economic and livelihood projects are important ways to offer self-respect and income.

We provide livelihood projects such as small markets, agriculture, livestock, a well, a sewing shop, and support for other entrepreneurial opportunities, subject to available funding.
